TRIGGER WARNING: This session is part of follow-up series on the permacrisis, polycrisis and metacrisis. The discussion and concepts covered may make you feel overwhelmed, depressive and/or anxious. Please only sign up if you are in a good space, comfortable with ambiguity, and can bring in a mood of curiosity.
What does it mean to be, in Nate Hagen’s words, energy blind? What is our relationship with energy? What are the impacts and implications on our futures?
Nate is the Director of The Institute for the Study of Energy & Our Future (ISEOF) and hosts The Great Simplification podcast, where he has conversations with experts in energy, ecology, government, technology, and the economy to provide a systemic view of the world around us.
In this watch party session, we will be viewing segments of Nate’s videos, pause periodically for reflections and have sense-making discussions about what is happening in the worlds we live in.
We also invite Energy CoLab as a resource and discussion partner to be part of the conversation to share their thoughts and reflections.
